We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and its associated Rules.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve the EazzCard service:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, job title, and company name provided at registration
• Card content: professional details, photo, social media links, and other information you add to your digital card
• Payment details: billing address and payment method (processed via secure third-party gateways; we do not store full card numbers)
• Usage data: device type, browser, IP address, pages visited, and interaction logs collected automatically
• Communications: messages or emails you send to our support team

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Create, manage, and operate your EazzCard account and digital business card
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send service-related communications such as account updates, billing notices, and security alerts
• Improve Platform performance through aggregated, anonymised analytics
• Respond to your support queries
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Sharing of Data

We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: trusted vendors (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing) who assist in operating the Platform under strict confidentiality obligations
• Public card profiles: information you choose to display on your digital business card is visible to anyone who views your shared card link or QR code
• Legal obligations: where required by law, court order, or a regulatory authority in India
• Business transfers: in the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer to the successor entity, subject to this Policy

EazzCard uses cookies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and collect anonymous usage statistics. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may be affected. Non-essential cookies are only placed with your consent where required by law.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including SSL/TLS encryption, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure to protect your data. While we take every reasonable precaution, no online service can guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by the DPDPA, 2023.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon account deletion, we will remove or anonymise your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

Under the DPDPA, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Withdraw consent for data processing (where applicable)

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do so, we will revise the Effective Date and notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
